Volunteers are an integral part of the Michael Tynan Memorial Challenge, and without the valuable support of these wonderful people, we simply wouldn't exist.
Tynan Motors, Optus, St. George Bank, UOW, Georges River Council, 923 Recruitment, AFS Solutions and Georges River Council have enlisted volunteers for this challenge. Their incredible hard work and commitment to the Michael Tynan Memorial Challenge has contributed to its growth.
Volunteering is a rewarding way to help out a local charity and get involved with a community, supporting people in our own backyards.
Volunteer roles are many and varied and we are always looking for more people to help out, particularly on the day of the Michael Tynan Memorial Challenge events. All professional and life-skills are valuable in assisting with operating our events.
Volunteer tasks include:
- Information desk
- Checkpoint hand
- IT/computer support
- Administration assistants
- Equipment logistics and course setup
- Fundraising assistants
- Raffle ticket sales
