SUPPORT BOATS NEEDED
Do YOU want to be involved in a charity paddle?
We’re looking for volunteers who would love to be apart of something extrodinary, the 2018 Michael Tynan Memorial Paddling Challenge. Join us for a charity paddle from Wollongong to the Shire in support of Local Medical Research.
When: 20th October 2018
Time: 5am Briefing for a 6am start.
Where: Wollongong Harbour
What does your support entail?
For the paddle to be safe and successful we’re looking for support boats to follow the paddlers on their journey from Wollongong to Cronulla, and assist in paddle changeover for the whole 55km challenge up the coast to Port Hacking.
The support boats will need to carry:
- Life jackets
- Two-way Radio
- Safety flairs
- First aid
Along the way, you’ll see the best nature has to offer, hug cliff faces and cruise along with the waters locals like dolphins and whales. And in return we’d like to invite you back to celebrate with us in the evening at Tynan Mercedes-Benz for a wrap up event.
Volunteer for this life changing event and support medical research.
